Coupling Brackets for Aluminium Swing Gates

Fitting a gate opener to aluminium swing gates can be problematic due to the risks associated with coupling steel and aluminium. To solve this, Ryterna has developed a dedicated set of coupling brackets that make installation simple, safe, and efficient.

Post Mounting Bracket Set

We offer a bracket set designed specifically for 100 × 100 mm rectangular posts.

As shown in Pic. 1, the system consists of three main components:

Two clamps that securely grip the post
One adjustable bracket for fixing the gear motor end

The clamps are fastened using M8 DIN 603 bolts, ensuring:

Strong and reliable fixing
Easy assembly
Fixings not accessible from the outside

The gear motor bracket is fully adjustable, allowing compatibility with most ram-type swing gate openers.

Swing Gate Leaf Bracket

We also offer a dedicated bracket for connecting the opposite end of the opener to the gate leaf.

This bracket is integrated with a 25 × 60 mm adjustable crossbar, which is:

Installed at a standard height of 300 mm above ground
Customizable to other heights upon request

The installer simply clamps the bracket onto the crossbar. It can be positioned freely along the bar to meet the specific requirements of the gate opener. Once aligned, it is secured by tightening two bolts.

Universal Compatibility

Different opener manufacturers use various fixing systems. Therefore, to maintain flexibility, we provide a universal bracket solution.

This means the installer may need to slightly modify the opener’s mounting hanger—typically by drilling two holes to match the bracket’s fixing pattern.
